ELDORA – Beyond the barricades of a blocked driveway, and through a tunnel made by a canopy of trees, construction crews continue to work on facilities at Pine Lake State Park.
“Normally we’d be full,” State Park Manager Don Primus said. “Especially with one of our big holidays coming up.”
Labor Day looked quite different this year as the park is closed until all renovation projects are complete. An Oct. 12 finish date was originally scheduled, but storms and other acts of nature have added some time to that, Primus said.
