ELDORA – Kids in town are losing the luxury of riding a bus to school, thanks to COVID-19 and the Return to Learn school plan. “We did not receive transportation funding to pay for an additional driver and route,” said Eldora-New Providence and Hubbard-Radcliffe Superintendent Dr. Adam Zellmer.
There will now be four rural route buses taking students back and forth between Eldora and the South Hardin Middle School in Hubbard.
“We took away the convenience route (in Eldora),” Zellmer said. “We had gone above and beyond what was required. We had to make a decision.”
