CLARKSVILLE – An early lead for AGWSR softball evaporated after Clarksvile capitalized on fielding miscues and walks for a 6-1 win in Clarksville on Monday night in a Class 1A regional final.
The Indians return to the state tournament for the second year in a row and the third time in four years, and will play Akron-Westfield at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 28 in a state quarterfinal.
AGWSR's season ends at 11-5.
