STEAMBOAT ROCK – Chloe Bittner of rural Steamboat Rock has goals. “I’ve always wanted to be a vet,” she said, adding she wants to attend Iowa State University to earn her degree.
At almost 13, the AGWSR eighth-grader recently completed another one of her goals by competing in Orlando, Fla., in June for the title of National Junior Miss United States Agriculture where she received the runner-up title. She had held the title of Hardin County Junior Miss United States Agriculture and competed for the Iowa title in 2019, where she won. From there she competed in the national contest.
