ELDORA – Larry Zoske of rural Eldora knows how to keep his cattle cool. With the recent high humidity and temperatures in the upper 80s and lower 90s, he knows how important it is for livestock farmers to make sure their animals are comfortable and not over-heated.
“It’s been staying really warm,” he said of the July temperatures. “And we haven’t had much breeze.” Zoske, who’s been farming for 50 years, has mostly Black Angus and Black Herefords, and has his herd scattered around the home place.
