CONRAD – Even when considering what BCLUW softball has lost since the end of the 2019 summer season, the Comets will still be a tough opponent for NICL West schools on the strength of senior leadership.
The 2019 NICL West champions will have a target on their back, but honorable mention all-state infielder Kiersten Kruse and second-team All-NICL West outfielder Kennedy Williams provide a solid nucleus along with returner Madison Ubben.
“They’ve had the experience on the field and will be looked upon for leadership,” BCLUW head coach Megan Yantis said.
