ELDORA – Iowa Falls resident Elaine Loring has joined the staff of the Eldora Herald-Ledger as news editor, replacing retiring news editor Rick Patrie, who has held the position since 2003. Loring has previous experience as former editor of the Iowa Falls Times-Citizen, as well as copy editor and reporter for The Ottumwa Courier. She received her education in English and Communications from Fort Lewis College in Durango, CO.
