The South Hardin girls’ track and field team needed to find 20 points per meet this spring to match last year’s team performances without dynamo thrower Brylie Zeisneiss, who now throws at the University of Arizona.
The Tigers’ running core was ready to step up though, and a senior was ready to step up and try to fill in Zeisneiss’ shoes before the COVID-19 pandemic brought the spring season in Iowa to an end.
“Our running core looked to be improved and we hoped to consistently match or exceed our team scores from 2019,” head coach Mike Olson said.
