Ellie Louise Andrew

Ellie Louise Andrew, 67, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones on June 16, 2025. 

Ellie was born on November 02, 1957, to Jack Hall and Cleo Elliott in Healdsburg, CA. At the age of 10, she came to Iowa to live with her maternal Aunt Helen “Mickie” and Uncle Lester Anderson. She was a graduate from the Union – Whitten High School, Class of 1975.

Affectionately known to many as “Ms. Ellie”, she was a free-spirited lady who never stopped seeing the good in people. Helping those in need was her life’s work. When not helping others, she could be found tending to her plants, in her sewing room or at a thrift store. She was a wizard with the needle and thread and knew how to stretch a dollar for miles.

Of all her life’s accomplishments that she ever talked about; her family was second to none.  

Ellie is survived by her companion of 25 years, Craig “Snowball” Bracy of Liscomb, IA; her children: Robert “Bobby” (Tonya) Jones of Eldora, Belinda “Bindy” Jones of Muskegon, MI, Brandon (Amanda) Jones of Eldora, and Blake (Kristan) Jones of Eldora. Her grandchildren: Makayla (Lucas) Chipp, La Duska “Dusky” (Derek) Jones, Isaac Plaehn, Carver Jones, Zachary (Hailey) Jones, Agustas Armstrong, Dallas Jones, and great-great grandchildren: Lane Estes, Damon McDaniel, Colson McDaniel and Iris Jones.

A celebration of life will be announced later.
