Christopher Thomas Ruhnke

Christopher Thomas Ruhnke, 56, died suddenly on Saturday, May 28, 2022, while visiting family in LaSalle. Cremation rites have been accorded. A private family service will follow. The Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born to William and Laura (Cable) on Dec. 30, 1965, in St. Louis, Mo., he lived in Florissant, Mo., most of his life. Chris attended school in the Hazelwood School District, graduating in 1984. He later graduated from Ranken Tech. In 1991, Chris married Dawn Gorski, their son Daniel was born later that year. Chris loved Heavy Metal music, travel, and collecting.

Chris is survived by his son Daniel; his mother Laura; and sister Charm. He was preceded in death by his father, William.
