Tigers win Homecoming

ELDORA- A 10-touchdown parade propelled the South Hardin football team to a lopsided 67-0 rout of Eagle Grove and a happy Homecoming for the hosts here Friday.

The Tigers sealed the season’s third win in four weeks early, racing to leads of 20-0 after one quarter and 47-0 at halftime. The final 24-minutes was played with a continuous clock.

South Hardin had a quick striking attack as five of the touchdowns came on the possession’s first play, including all three in the first quarter.

Sophomore running back Waylen Butler ignited the scoring spree with a 22-yard run at the 7:13 mark of the opening quarter followed by Taylor Kolthoff dashing 19-yards untouched and then a 28-yard scoring strike from Dalton Lake to Beau Butler.
