Tigers, Grundy gals net lopsided wins


GRUNDY CENTER- Lopsided wins were captured by the South Hardin boys’ and Grundy Center girls’ basketball teams during North Iowa Cedar League West Conference play here Friday.

The Tigers netted a 72-46 victory in the nightcap after the state-ranked Spartans were never challenged in the opener, winning 61-14.


Sparked by the hot-hand of junior guard Cauy Teske the South Hardin boys led from start to finish. Teske poured in a game-high 24 points with 18 on six three-point goals.
