Tigers buried by Trojans

STATE CENTER- An early knockout punch was delivered by West Marshall and the South Hardin boys’ basketball team never recovered, losing a key North Iowa Cedar League West Conference contest 74-47 here Friday.

The host Trojans scored the game’s first eight-points, sprinted to a 16-3 advantage and owned a surprising 26-9 cushion after one quarter.

The West Marshall win coupled with Gladbrook-Reinbeck’s 68-65 overtime victory over AGWSR left those three tied a top the conference and 6-2 with South Hardin one game back at 5-3.
