Storm matmen shutout

INDEPENDENCE- There was high hopes on the way into the gym and disbelief on the walk out for the South Hardin-BCLUW wrestling team here Saturday.

The Storm advanced four matmen to a Class 2A district meet and with state tournament berths awarded to the first and second placewinners, SH-BCLUW booked three thirds and one fourth.

Adding to the heartbreak were all three thirds came in the wrestle-back round. Senior Coby Willett at 132-pounds, junior Taylor Kolthoff at 120 and freshman Carter Kolthoff at 106 took the thirds as all lost to Union High opponents.
