Storm matman fourth at Gilbert Duals

GILBERT- Mixed results came out of the Gilbert Duals for the South Hardin-BCLUW wrestling team here Saturday.

The Storm finished fourth in the six-team field going 2-3, while a cast of seven matmen registered winning records.

A pair of 5-0 performances by senior Coby Willett and freshman Carter Kolthoff highlighted the performance. Willett at 126-pounds combined three pins with one decision and forfeit each.  At 106, Kolthoff booked two falls and forfeits each with one win.

Willett reached the 100-career win mark with the five Saturday, standing 100-37. The three falls give him a 67 six-pointers.

Taylor Kolthoff at 120-pounds and 138-pounder Neifer Ralston were next at 4-1 while 3-2 were Kade Pekarek at 152, Michael Fuller at 160/170 and Logan Gunderson at 220.
