South Hardin girls split regional bouts

ALLEMAN- A first-round victory highlighted a Saturday full of tennis for the South Hardin girls.

Between raindrops and in chilly temps, the Tigers netted a 5-2 victory over North Polk in the quarterfinals of regional team play and then were beaten 5-0 by Ballard.

South Hardin combined four wins in singles and one in doubles to topple the Comets. The dual ends when the first team reaches five.
