Rotary gift to shop class

Halloween keeps on giving. Ask the folks in Barry Scott’s industrial arts classes out at the South Hardin High School.

Now on hand for use in instructions is a brand new aluminum siding brake/fabricator donated by the Eldora Rotary. It is courtesy of the organization’s annual Haunted Hospital proceeds.  Actually the transaction has gone both ways. The school classes undertook several project for the Rotary at the site of the Halloween feature.

The new gift is a specialized tool that the school couldn’t have afforded under normal circumstances – what with the costs of upkeep on other shop equipment. The tool is used to bend or fold siding at exact angles or configurations required by a specific job.(Read it all in the Tuesday Ledger)
