Road work ahead

HARDIN COUNTY – It will take a whole season, and then some, to repair the damage done to the county gravel roads this winter.

And that is assuming winter is over, and it’s assuming that we escape another deluge.

Hardin County Engineer Taylor Roll told the county supervisors that essentially this coming construction season will be devoted largely to bringing the roads back to the state they were in before the mix of winter temperatures, snows and late season rains that did so much damage.
