Return trip to state XC for Silver

OTTUMWA- A return trip to the state meet was registered by Caleb Silver of the BCLUW boys’ cross country team here Thursday during a Class 1A State Qualifying Meet.

Silver scored sixth in a field of 191-runners, covering the course in 17:52. The top 15 individuals qualified for the state show.

The Comet junior placed 46th at the state show last fall and in the latest state individual rankings is listed No. 19 in 1A.
