HARDIN COUNTY – Going back almost sixty years there are a couple of names you find over and over when the subject is community betterment through “greening.”

Bob and Mary Lu Gunderson now live in Des Moines, but have left a big mark on the outdoors of Eldora, and they are a ready reference on work that has been done by so many others down through the years.
