New Providence equipping firemen

NEW PROVIDENCE – The New Providence Volunteer Fire Department is hosting its third annual “Mark Jeske” Memorial Golf Tournament with the goal of raising funds to purchase breathing apparatus for members of the department. The unit was a big priority to the late New Providence man.

The event honors and remembers Jeske, the long time member of the crew who was also its fire chief. The fundraiser is Saturday, June 15 at the Hubbard Golf Course. Play will be a four-person best shot format with tee off at 8:30 a.m.
