Mitchell to stay

ELDORA – Events turned around late Wednesday evening and word came out in a press release Friday morning that city manager Dave Mitchell will in fact continue at his post.

Mitchell said he was gratified with the result and with a settlement that kept him at work for Eldora.

Mitchell had submitted a letter of resignation early last week, citing differences with a member of the council, and for all intents and purposes it looked like his two-year tenure at the job was coming to an end last Friday.
