Master Farmers

HARDIN COUNTY – Wallace’s Farmer Magazine knows farming and farmers who have set the bar high for the profession.
    So it is very significant that a fifth generation Hardin County farm couple has recently received one of the magazine’s annual Master Farmer awards at ceremonies in Des Moines. Lisle and Margaret Cook have farmed together in Hardin County since 1960. Their grandchildren mark the seventh generation on the farm right now. (Read it all in Friday's Index)
