Liscomb Memorial Day Program

The Harry E. Powers Post #87 will celebrate Memorial Day on Monday, May 25. The program will begin at 10 a.m. at the Liscomb Cemetery. Please note the change of location due to social distancing. Commander Norval Mosher will preside, with Laine Rittgers as Sergeant at Arms. Patriotic music will be provided by Kristy Case Rittgers, and Ron Galloway, Phil Gould and Ralph Norman. Ralph Norman, minister of the Liscomb Church of Christ, will deliver the message. Ellie Sheets will read “In Flanders Fields”. Roll call of deceased veterans will be read by Don Fiscus and Phil Gould. Military services, coordinated by Steve Sheets, will follow at approximately 11 a.m. Please bring your own chair. In case of inclement weather, the program will not be held. The public is encouraged and invited to attend.
