Lightning strikes twice for Miller

ELDORA – Plenty of golfers play the game their entire lives and never score a hole-in-one. 

Ivan Miller of Eldora’s done it 12 times. Last week, he hit two hole-in-ones in the same week at Pine Lake Country Club in Eldora. He dropped it in the cup on Hole No. 6 on Wednesday, April 29. The following Saturday, May 2, he put a one on his scorecard after knocking it in on Hole No. 8. 

“I’ve played a lot over the years, so my odds are better than some,” Miller said. 

His secret? “Hitting it straight, and a little bit of luck.”
