Legion leader in Iowa

ELDORA – Brett Reistad, told a group of 25 Eldora Legion members and some representatives of city government that he’s done his best to indulge a love of history and make himself an encyclopedia of all things American Legion. Wednesday night he shared it all with the American Legion post here.

The Virginia man is now the National Commander of the American Legion, and part of the job is the pleasure of telling the Legion story all around the country – and this year doing it on the occasion of the Legion’s Centennial.
