Junior Golf Tourney at Union

UNION- The 12th-annual “Buster Nyce Memorial” Junior Golf Tournament crowned eight champions at the South Hardin Rec Area Golf Course here Friday.

Highlighting the event were a pair of one-stroke wins in the 15-to-18 age divisions. Nolan Freeman of Grundy Center edged defending champion Lane Stanley of Union, carding an even par 35 to 36 for the boys, while for the girls, Madison Trinkle of Union trimmed Lauren Anderson of Conrad, 41 to 42. Third placings were Keegan Rhinehart of Conrad and Mackenzie Trinkle of Union.
