Isabel George, 96

Isabel George, 96, of Grundy Center and formerly of Grinnell passed away on February 17, 2019, at Creekside Western Home in Grundy Center. A Funeral Mass has been scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Grinnell with Rev. Ross Epping officiating. Burial will be in Hazelwood Cemetery in Grinnell. Visitation with the family present will be held from 1 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, at the Smith Funeral Home. A Rosary will be said at 4 p.m. Friday and a Vigil service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be designated to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, Iowa Public Television (IPTV), or Cedar Valley Hospice.
