HARDIN COUNTY – If you like the Electoral College you will love the machinations the state Democrat party put itself through trying to translate that “popular turnout” of causus-goers into all important delegates. If that’s not enough, introduce a new computer app not quite ready for prime time, and you have the makings of national attention the party had never sought out.

It’s worth noting that the problems, which plagued the collection and dissemination of results, weren’t being put off on local caucus organizers. The state party was taking the heat.
