Ice hits

    Start your car put it in gear and sit back as  a mere eighth of an inch of ice proceeds to take the wheel. If you did get on the street and pointed in a direction, you quickly found the direction in which your car was pointed – was none of  your business. If you were lucky you came to rest against a curb or something soft. By the time you saw people doing this (above) the worst had already passed. By then, just about every town in Hardin County was out of ice melt. It was a weatherman’s dream, however. They told us what was coming a couple of days in advance and told it with just about 100 percent accuracy – officially one of the worst ice storm in the books. But gone as quick as it came.
