Homicide investigation in Delaware County

DELAWARE COUNTY— The Delaware County Sheriffs Office is investigating the death of Amy Mullis, a former Eldora resident, as a homicide.

Responders were called to her Earlville home November 10th by her husband Todd Mullis.

She was pronounced dead upon her arrival at Regional Medical Center in Manchester. Early reports do not list the nature or cause of her death and authorities in Manchester,  later on Friday, repeated the same.

An autopsy was completed by the State Medical Examiner’s Office and  it was the report from that office which  listed the  death as homicide.

The Delaware County Sheriff’s Office initiated an investigation and requested the assistance of the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation. Watch this website and check the Tuesday Ledger for further developments. 

Amy Lynn (Fuller) Mullis was the daughter of Robert and Peggy Fuller and graduated from the Eldora high school in 1997.
