Help your firemen

Eldora Firemen work on clearing out on of the many hydrants..

Crews of firemen shown in the photo were out a week ago trying to locate and uncover hydrants buried in the snow. Better when all is quiet than run into problems finding the hydrants when all is quiet than run into problems find the hydrants when there is an emergency.

But there aren’t enough firemen in all of Eldora to keep up with the snow when it comes like it has the last few weeks. The Department is asking people along Eldora’s streets and avenues to take it upon themselves to keep hydrants open for view.
