Fun fall for SH Boys XC

ELDORA- Back-to-back conference crowns and a third consecutive state meet berth headlined a fantastic fall for the South Hardin boys’ cross country team.

The Tigers’ fall featured four team titles, including a repeat as the North Iowa Cedar League Conference champions, a runner-up placing at a State Qualifying Meet and an eighth place finish in Class 2A at the state meet.

“It was a very successful season,” stated South Hardin coach Mike Olson. “The boys came in with a target on their backs this season and did a great job of accomplishing goals.”

The Tigers posted an 81-15 win-loss record over the nine-meet campaign and in addition to the conference crown, captured team titles at the Pine Lake Run, BCLUW Invitational and Grundy Center Invitational. The team lost four meets to rainy weather, including the South Hardin Invitational.
