Endowment gives $95,000 in grants

For groups in the county aspiring to community betterment, the Hardin County Community En- dowment has become a go to source for financial backing. Since 2005, HCCEF has given back over $1.6 million in grants to Hardin County through the endowment’s Community Grants Program and through added distributions from the 68 endowment funds with HCCEF. And in 2017, 22 nonprofit organizations from six county- wide organizations and eight different communities throughout Hardin County shared $94,722 in community grant funds. Here are the projects which benefitted. Grant applications for 2018 awards have already been received.
