Eldora City Council: Eldora passes fireworks use ordinance

ELDORA - The Eldora City Council discussed and approved new ordinances regarding fireworks and dumpster rentals during their regular meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 8 at City Hall.

On fireworks, the council approved an ordinance requiring the application and approval of a special permit before groups or individuals will be allowed to shoot off fireworks in the city limits. Applications must be made by the property owner of the location in question and must include proof of sufficient insurance for personal injury, property damage, and total exposure.
