Eagles preparing for cage campaign

NEW PROVIDENCE- The building of the 2018-19 edition of the Quakerdale Prep basketball team has begun.

First-year head coach Tom Barrett will look to mold 10 players that arrived in central Iowa from eight states spanning from coast to coast into one squad.

“The goals of the team are multiple layer. We want guys to develop and get better, want to place our guys at good schools for next year and we want to win,” said Barrett.

“And a big part of all that is the development off the court. Along with basketball I really like the side where we also concentrate on building character and preparing them for the future,” he said.
