Cougars land 3, Comets 1 all-state

ELDORA- All-state softball honors were earned by the area foursome of junior Taryan Barrick, sophomore Ali Gerbracht and freshman Makenna Kuper of AGWSR along with sophomore Kiersten Kruse of BCLUW released recently by the Iowa Girls’ Coaches Association.

Barrick headlined the all-state selections, tabbed Class 1A first-team followed by Kuper second-team and Gerbracht third-team.

Kruse was picked second-team all-state in Class 2A.

Three teammates made the all-state honorable mention rosters – sophomore Rachel Sicard of AGWSR, and juniors Bailey Ashton and Parker Scurr of BCLUW.
