Cougars erupt for 70 points

ACKLEY- A 41-point first quarter fueled a lopsided 70-36 victory for the AGWSR football team over Colo-NESCO here Friday during Eight-Player, District 5 action.

The Cougars piled on another 21 points in the second period and led, 62-14 at halftime, improving to 2-0 in the district and 2-2 overall.

Jaden Penning propelled the 10-touchdown parade, finding the end zone four times with a 12-yard run, two scoring strikes of seven and five yards, and a 50-yard punt return.
