Cougars crowned NICL West Champions

LEGRAND- Fans were treated to an instant classic here Friday.

With the North Iowa Cedar League West Conference crown going to the winner, the AGWSR softball team edged East Marshall, 1-0 and celebrated the first league title since 2013.

Cougar hurler Taryan Barrick stole the contest’s headlines as she struck out a career-high 19 and tossed a two-hitter.
