Cougars bury Baxter

BAXTER- The offensive-minded AGWSR football team steamrolled yet another Eight-Player, District 5 opponent, burying Baxter, 69-14 here Friday.

The Cougars tallied the contest’s first 27 points and led 48-8 at halftime to improve to 5-0 in the district and 5-2 overall.

Jaden Penning accounted for four of the winner’s 10 touchdowns with three rushing and a 24-yard scoring strike. Penning had a combined 211 yards from the line of scrimmage with 175 on 15 carries to go with 36 on three receptions.
