Connie Walton, 76

Connie Walton, 76 of Grinnell, passed away on Friday, Feb. 22, 2019 from complications of Parkinson’s disease. She was receiving care at the Mayflower Community Health Care Center in Grinnell and also under the care of Grinnell Regional Hospice. Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 28, 2019 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Grinnell. A reception will follow the service at the church. Interment will be at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Eldora, IA at a later date. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 27 at the Smith Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 4 until 7 p.m. Memorials may be designated to St. Mary’s Catholic Church, mailed in care of the Smith Funeral Home, PO Box 368, Grinnell, IA 50112.
