Comets score 15-4 wins

BEAMAN- An offensive outburst carried the BCLUW baseball team over Grundy Center, 15-4 here Wednesday during North Iowa Cedar League West action.

The Comets hit home plate all five innings, capped by an eight-run fifth. Highlighting the season-high output was a walk-off grand-slam home run by Blake Mann for the final four runs of the game.

GILMAN- The league-leading BCLUW baseball team posted a 15-4 victory over East Marshall here Friday during North Iowa Cedar League West play.

The Comets improved to 6-1 in the conference along with 8-7 overall, racing home 15 runs over the fourth and fifth innings.

Down 4-0, BCLUW plated six runs in the fourth and then send 14 batters to the plate and scored nine in the fifth.
