Comets, Janssen win rematch with Cougars

CONRAD- Round two went to the BCLUW boys’ basketball team and head coach Evan Janssen.

The Comets defeated AGWSR, 52-40 and avenged an early season loss to the Cougars here Thursday during North Iowa Cedar League West play.

BCLUW gained control of the contest with a 17-3 run to close the first quarter and start the second, and never looked back. Knotted 10-all, the Comets ended the first period on a 10-3 to lead 20-13, and then scored the first seven points of the second.
