City administrator issue

    ELDORA – City mayor Bob Jeske confirmed over the weekend that the city council will be sending city manager Bruce Bierma a letter informing him of the council may be considering ending his tenure with the city.
    The announcement came after a special meeting Thursday evening in which no details were given about what lay behind the move.
    The council may produce that information in a special meeting Tuesday night, (tonight March 14) set for 6 p.m. at city hall.
    Jeske said that the primary concern this past week was to ensure that all parties involved in the possible move were properly notified of the potential action. He said the council would insure it notified Bierma  of the Tuesday hearing.
    Bierma was not present for the session Thursday. He came on board with the city late in 2014.
