Chase ends north of Hubbard

As of press time authorities were still waiting on a search warrant to search a car stopped after a pursuit in Hardin County.

The driver and a passenger had reportedly told Sheriffs authorities that they had a weapon in the vehicle.

At this time that had not been confirmed. But deputies did say that they followed the vehicle on Tuesday until it ended up in a ditch along Highway H and D-47. The passengers allegedly refused to exit the vehicle for about two hours, then one, Mina Youngbear 22 of Montour did so and deputies used a chemical device to help overpower the remaining individual.

He was Seger Brown 39, also of Montour.

Charges are pending as are results of the search being anticipated.

No one was injured in the incident.

The site of the incident is north of Hubbard.
