Celebrate scouting

Area scouting gets a nod in this edition of the Ledger.

There are reports from Scouts centered here in Eldora and from those in the Ackley-Grundy Center area.

Lots of activities over the last year, some local and some that took the scouts and leaders trav- elling, sometimes as far away as Colorado and New Mexico.

Pictured is a little closer to home with the Eldora troop finishing in third place out of 29 groups at the annual Klondike (winter competitions) Derby.
