Cattlemen teach school

LISCOMB – The wonders of being connected.
    A cow-calf herd shows up in the class room, and 70 kids return the favor – all the way from Woodbury school in Marshalltown – they show up, or a Skyped version of them, shows up out on the farm.
    It is a project now about three years old and the sharing between the cattlemen and the kids has won a farm family south of Union a special recognition from the Iowa Beef Industry Council.(Read the rest in Friday's Index)
