Big job all but done

HARDIN COUNTY  - By any measure it was bound to be a huge undertaking – unearthing the names of hundreds and then thousands of veterans and verifying their ties to Eldora. 

There were big project decisions made, about design and funding and other matters, but nothing was more fundamental to the Eldora Veteran’s Memorial effort than the laborious task of collecting names. In the end the magic number was about 1,500 of them.
